Privacy Policy
Last updated: 25 June 2026
Presencive ("we", "us") is a platform that helps you build and publish your digital presence on your own domain. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Sign-up: when you request an account, we collect your name, email, phone (optional), your desired site name, a desired domain (optional), and your message.
- Contact and inquiries: when you message us, we collect your name, email, subject, and message.
- Site contact forms: messages sent through a published site's contact form are delivered to that site's owner; we store them so the owner can read them in their console.
- Account and usage: for site owners, we store login credentials (securely hashed) and an activity log (timestamps, IP address, and the actions performed) for security and audit.
- Site stats: for published sites, we store aggregate page-view counts by day, page, route type, and language. We do not store raw visitor IP addresses, user agents, referrers, cookies, or visitor profiles for these stats.
- Technical: standard server logs and a session cookie required for signed-in areas.
How we use it
- To set up accounts and operate the platform and your site.
- To contact you about your account or site.
- To secure the service (audit logging, abuse prevention, rate limiting).
- To show site owners simple aggregate stats about whether their public site is being viewed.
We do not sell your data, and we do not run advertising.
What is public vs private
A published site's content (story, highlights, media, etc.) is public by design. Sign-ups, inquiries, contact-form messages, and account/activity data are private and visible only to the platform administrators and, for site contact messages, the site owner.
Retention and security
We keep information for as long as needed to operate the service and meet legitimate obligations, then delete or anonymise it. Credentials are hashed; connections use HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, but we apply reasonable safeguards.
Your choices and requests
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. Because we do not display contact email addresses publicly, please send any privacy or data request through our contact form.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the date above.
